Before Rolfing
Konrad studied Communications and Anthropology at the University of Munich which was followed by extensive travels which led him to India where he did Yoga-teacher training in Kerala in 1988/89.Inspiration to train in Rolfing®
“I felt personally very touched by the sessions – my background of an upbringing in a rigid cultural environment, in combination with the traditional but exotic Indian Yoga that I was learning, was leading me to ask for more explanation.I have also always had a fascination with the plasticity of the human form and so in addition to Yoga, have studied many different somatic approaches such as Biomechanics, Continuum Movement, Osteopathy, Cranio-Sacral work and, specifically, Embryology. For me, the impact of culture on the human body and its potential is an ongoing field of research.”
