What comes after a professional dance career – and how can years of embodied knowledge, movement experience and body awareness become the foundation for a new profession?
This webinar explores Rolfing® Structural Integration as a professional pathway for dancers who want to continue working with the body and movement beyond, or alongside, performing.
Through personal dancer stories, insights from Rolfing® faculty and practical information about the training, you will discover how skills developed through dance can become valuable resources in a new professional role as a Rolfer®.
A career transition does not necessarily mean leaving behind everything you have developed as a dancer.
Years of training and performing cultivate a refined sensitivity to movement, space, coordination, observation and the body. Rolfing® Structural Integration offers a way to build on this embodied experience while developing new knowledge and practical skills in anatomy, fascia, touch, perception, gravity and movement.
You will hear personal and professional perspectives from dancers who have moved into Rolfing® Structural Integration, as well as insights from Rolfing® faculty.
The webinar will also introduce the training pathway at Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® Europe and provide an opportunity to ask your questions in a live Q&A.
